International Theatre Festival OITF 2017 «Into The Roots»

From 26 to 30 July 2017 in Odessa will take place the International Theatre Festival OITF 2017 "Into The Roots" . The event is timed to celebrate the 25th anniversary of official cooperation between Ukraine and Japan.

The festival will be opened by the performance of the Odessa Buto Theatre "Ouroboros". At different venues of the city, artists from different countries will present their art of performance of Buto. In the programme of the festival there is a parade on Deribasovskaya, theatrical productions, workshops, exhibitions and other events.

19:30 - Kirha. Opening of the OITF 2017 "Into The Roots" festival with the performance of the Odessa Butoh Theater "Ouroboros".

21:00 - More Music Club. Solo marathon buto performances from the city of Kharkov.

July 27

18:00 - the courtyard of the Odessa Museum of Modern Art. Performance of the actor, director, performer and Buto artist Valentin Jing (Berlin).

21:00 - Underpub club. Performance "Pamphlets. After reading, burn it. "

July 28

18:00 - Museum of Western and Oriental Art. Theatrical performance of cultural figure Jun Kawasaki (Japan) "The End does not End".

22:00 - Deribasovskaya street (from the side of Ekaterininskaya) - City Garden - Rotunda. Butoh-parade.

00:00 - Chkalovsky beach. Open meeting of the festival participants with all comers. Musical accompaniment from dj Tymur Petrun Japanese chanson, analog techno.

16:00 - 23:00 - Odessa Sea port. Exhibition of graphic works on the theme of the festival "Into The Roots".

18:00 - More Music Club. Performance "Mesopotamia".

22:00 - Performance of the Butoh ECHO.

18:00 - Underpub club. Buto's experimental dance group "Za"
