"Adventure" in the Odessa Municipal Museum of private collections named after A. V. Bleshunov

On the 25th of October, at 12:00, in the exhibition hall of Odessa Municipal Museum of private collections named after A. V. Bleshunov (Polskaya street, 19) will open the first solo exhibition of illustrations by Irina Potapenko "Adventure".

Irina Potapenko – animator, for many years she creates illustrations for children's books. At her first solo exhibition will be presented works created over the past two years. Amongst them – the black and white graphics to the Ukrainian tales and the works created on the motifs of "Alice's adventures in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll. These drawings became the winners of the International exhibition of illustrations Сow Illustration 2014. 

Irina works with different materials: watercolors, oil, acrylic. Recently she fell in love with pastels, very textured, soft and velvety material. The artist loves hes job; she dreamed to write stories and create pictures to them since she was five. At the exhibition, along with illustrations, will be featured several children's books, for which Irina had created drawings. 

About the artist: Irina Potapenko – illustrator, collaborates with the publishing house "Vivat", "Hour Maistru", "Azbukvarik", the magazine "Piznaiko" and others. For many years he worked as a cartoonist in the Studio "Gippopo" at the Odessa film Studio and Barvin. Participated in a series of projects "the Lessons of aunt Owl", "Petson and Findus", etc. She is a winner of many art competitions. Irina was a participant of the II and the IV International festival of Green's "Scarlet sails" (2011, 2013), a project of the Charitable Foundation "AVE" "the seasons" (2013), the illustration Festival in Odessa "Illustrationsfest" (2015), a winner by results of the exhibition of illustrations COW ILLUSTRATION 2014 (TOP 10).
