Interesting PlacesShah's palace

Shah's Palace in Odessa is a neo-Gothic building on a steep cliff at the beginning of Gogol Street. Once it was rented by the Persian Shah. The palace had been built  in 1851-1852. It was designed by the architect F. Gonsiorovskiy for the Polish nobleman Z. Brzhozovsky. Count I. Shenbek was the last owner of the palace. Part of the premises had been rented. From 1909 to 1917 Persian Shah Muhammad Ali, who fled to Odessa from the revolution in Iran,  lived in the palace.
